two hundred (no 's')
The topic of survey concerns the level of satisfaction with H& F and iGADGET MP3 players, and then a questionnaire was designed to collect users opinions
satisfied with something
Be careful with headphone quality (3.1) - as both brands had low satisfaction.
.. may be because...
..models are only provided...
..which were not able to fulfill users wants... (tense - here present is more suitable).
Recommendations - Focus on the problem and solution - not the cause. For example: "In view of the fact that transferring music is inconvenient for the MP3 players users, as a software program must be installed on the user’s computer, it is proposed that the company can simply use the drag-and-drop to minimize the in convenience caused. "

Overall good.

Report on the performance of MP3 players

1. Introduction
This report was requested by Mr Connick, the Marketing manager of H&F Electronics on 1 March. The report concerns the unsatisfactory performance of our MP3 players in the market, especially compared with that of iGADGET MP3 players. The aim of this report is to suggest possible improvements that would satisfy users.

2. Procedure
Data for this report were gathered from 28 April to 13 May 2011by M&D Market Research Company. The topic of satisfaction with H& F and iGADGET MP3 players, and then a questionnaire was designed to collect users opinions. Of those analyzed, two hundreds were from H&F MP3 users, and two hundred were from iGADGET MP3 users. Those interviewees were asked to complete the questionnaire on the design, functions, sound quality, battery life, Headphone quality and overall satisfaction of the H&F MP3 and iGADGET MP3.

3. Findings

Table 1 Satisfaction with H&F and iGADGET MP3 players in February 2011

3.1 Overview
Table 1 shows the results of the consumer questionnaire conducted in February. Only around a half of users were satisfied the overall satisfaction of H&F MP3 player. The satisfaction rate were lower when comparing to iGADGET MP3 which were having about two-third of users satisfied with their overall satisfaction. The explanations for low overall satisfaction are the poor performance on design, functions, sound quality and headphone quality compare to iGADGET MP3.

3.2 Design
Under half of H&F users said that they were satisfied with the design of H&F MP3 while over four-fifth of users were satisfied with iGADGET MP3 design. One possible reason for this may because of the limited color range of H&F MP3. Most models only provided black and white color which were not able to fulfill users wants. The willingness of people choosing H&F MP3 will decrease due to the limited choices.

3.3 Functions
Regarding functions, twice as many iGADGET (63%) users expressed satisfaction as H&F users (37%). This could be due to the more complicated transfer of music to H&F MP3 player. H&F MP3 users need to install a software on their computer for transferring music files on H&F MP3 while iGADGET simply using drag-and-drop. The inconvenience of using H&F MP3 dissatisfied users.

3.4 Headphone quality
The response of H&F MP3 users and iGADGET users is approximately the same with only about two-fifth of users were satisfied the headphone quality. The poor headphone quality may be attributed to the quality control problem of the headphone factory. This may harm the reputation of H&F MP3.

3.5 Market share
From March to August 2010 H&F MP3 leveled off at about one-fifth of the market share while iGADGET had a consistent growth from 56% to 65 %.

4. Conclusion
The finding clearly indicate that we have four main area should be improved in order to I crease the satisfaction of MP3 users and enhance our market share.
5. Recommendations
After considering the report, the following recommendations are made:
5.1 Design
Given that a major cause of dissatisfaction amongst H&F MP3 users is because of the limited color range and choice and it is too big and heavy to carry compared to iGADGET MP3 players, it is recommended that the company should devote more resource on R& D Department to improving the technology for innovating a new design which is lighter and has more color range.
5.2 Functions
In view of the fact that transferring music is inconvenient for the MP3 players users, as a software program must be installed on the user’s computer, it is proposed that the company can simply use the drag-and-drop to minimize the in convenience caused.
5.3 Headphone Quality
Regarding the defective headphone, it is because o f the inefficient and ineffective Quality Control scheme used by the factory, I suggest that we should improve our QC scheme and provide guideline to better monitor our QC team.
5.4 Declining Market Share
Since the declining market share, we could rejuvenate our brand by replacing our existing spokesperson, Felix Chan by young pop star, Lala Chan.
